This James Beard nominee offers daily fresh, sustainably crafted bread and pastries. Located in the Old Port district, this small bakery is a Portland fixture for their fresh bakes and crisp perfect croissants. Grab a morning bun or baguette on your way to peruse Portland's famous waterfront or order ahead a time to pick up your goods on the go.

Gross Confection Bar is truly a unique approach to baked goods and desserts. With a two-part business approach, the Gross Confection Bar sets up a daytime walk-in bakery offering a rotating seasonal menu of sweet treats and savory bakes before closing and reopening in the evening as a sit-down dining experience offering a full bar and dessert menu ranging from an ice cream tasting board to decadent dark chocolate tortes.
